I have enthusiasm and joie de vivre and all that cool shit again!
Maybe it's the post-lab-worked euphoria.
Maybe it's the I will have new labs to work on every, every day oh god.
Maybe it's the tomorrow is dance and I may hear back from Pearlann.
Maybe it's the promise of hanging out with Mallory this weekend.
Maybe it's the promise of mystery vegetables.
Maybe it's the I've been busy and I may actually have time to sketch this weekend.
Maybe it's the I've been busy, not just pining for excitement at my boring job.
We'll see how long this lasts.
I was thinking today that bread and cheese are so delicious, I may as well move to France. And then I could eat good bread and good cheese and speak French. And if I stayed there long enough, I would blend in. French people would be friends with me. I could have a job that permits me to stay far far away from Florida. And if I should get knocked up, I would raise the kid bilingual. This is only a pretend dream. I'm going to try my hardest to get in a semester abroad, but I doubt French people will be my friends or that I would assimilate gracefully into the culture, and I hope that I don't get knocked up if I do go. I probably won't move to France. But I will go again before I die, unless I die soon in a freak accident involving hedgeclippers, a man in a beekeeping suit, and a german shepherd.
When I go grocery shopping, I will mostly buy cheese. Don't really need that much else until after my next vegetables come.
I made zucchini bread. It is like banana bread except with zucchini. It is delicious! It also helped use up my eggs. I still have one of those, but the bread absorbed: 2 zucchini, 2 eggs, flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and soda, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, cardamom (the last three items are my own insertions). I was surprised I didn't need milk, but welcomed that because I generally don't have milk around. It is a good idea, despite fears and reservations you may have about making sweet breads out of green phallic vegetables.
