Jun. 23rd, 2008 02:42 pmLast night, after realizing that the maroon Sherbrook bike is "terrifying" and that the couscous recipe I had was delicious, I ended up sticking around to help apt 36 of 1914 clean their kitchen.
That they had a vegetable crisper in their fridge was new to them... but there was a desiccated tomato, rotting mushy apples, and brown liquefied carrots with spongebob on the package (internet claims this started in summer of '05, scary) (we crossed the street to buy gloves after this discovery... "those are... CAR-ROTS!"), as well as other unidentifiable produce, tucked inside. Also cleaned out Luke's cabinet... a hard brown lime, Teddie brand peanut butter with seductively posed fat bear... Boxes of expired foods from Em... French bread pizzas promoting Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)... It was kinda fun. It's really fulfilling to throw away canned goods that expired in 2006. Kind of looking forward to doing the same in Sherbrook.
