-My mother now asks snarky questions based on my aim statuses. Example: "So, are you getting to work on time, every day?"

-She also asks other sorts of snarky questions: "Your second cousin Matthew is on the dean's list at West Point and an athletic star. What are your grades like?"

-It only took her a year online to become an internet stalker. She's found her vanished rowing friend from college hiding in a New Jersey real estate firm.

-She also told me, due to bitterness about her husband, that since I am young, I should "go out with all types of men to see what they are like", "try to get them to buy you dinner and do nice things for you", and then "live with them a while before you think about getting married, but they'll change when they marry you anyway." I am not expecting to follow this advice. Possibly the last bit, but that'd be a long, long way off, oh god.

-I felt guilty for spending so much time with hayley because barely anyone else I know was in town this weekend. And I never contact non-chris guys because I am paranoid/uncomfortable. Vaguely glad michael didn't show up to kgb, not that he isn't totally harmless.

-Some degree of roommate bonding happened this weekend.

-Now I have a kind of people-hangover where I have socialized too much, the little that I did this weekend, and now I am bored/lonely and just sleeping to fill time. I think I'm going to try sketching for a bit now, though. Can't wait for work to start back up tomorrow.

-I am not great at juggling. I was glad dklionsk brought juggling balls to kgb. It kept me busy.

-I should have joined the post-kgb food group, but I had expected to miss their departure while trying to figure out where val was so I could return her comics. Then when I didn't, I was worried their plans couldn't include me, without even asking.

-Spending so much time with hayley also makes me want to speak french. She has found francophone exchange students and grad students. But I probably will never talk to them. I have instead found websites where I can read french. I will fill copybooks.
