Jun. 24th, 2007 03:28 amLess than ideal day. You know, uneventful
I had planned to clean my room because I can't find my microphone or camera cable but never got around to it
cleaned the birdcage
checked up on my old pal the Dell laptop
didn't write thank yous
drove Brian to violin unexpectedly
found no alligators at Target, and Albritton had been closed. Twin xl sheet sets are rare.
I saw two squirrels today
One eating out of the cat dish at Mr. Bowermeister's house (I had initially thought it a misplaced statue since his landscaping was so elaborate)
One in a tree at Sweet Tomatoes (tomato chipotle soup was good, as was curried pineapple linguine), looking less bushy-tailed than the squirrels I saw last summer at Northeastern and being fed at the Boston Common.
and we bought a book on France at Borders
TCBY is closing, not that I notice changes in most of town or can generally locate north without thinking too hard about it
and The Ultimate Book of Useless Information, which I highly recommend
I called Josh to tell him hamsters blink one eye at a time and find crickets particularly delicious since he had informed me in the bookstore that he was in his Mormon uncle's basement in Utah with a pair of tan hamsters
12+ cows = a flink, etc.
Scrabble over peanuts-in-the-shell... I had most of "immolate" but there wasn't an 'a' open on the board for it
they spelled "accommodate" incorrectly in the credits of some comedienne's schtick. I hate TV
singers with hilarious cheesy dance moves
reality midget tv
somewhere in there I did a cryptoquip and parts of two jumbles and another cryptoquip
Internet sneakiness revealed my SMC box number 2036
and that I will be staying in a standard double in Donner
and mail nonsneakiness sent me a scholarship notice for the "Well-Rounded Man" put out by sigep fraternity
One of the chairs has videos of dancers' symposium up on facebook
dad got me a 2 gig flash drive because he likes material possessions
Finished the book of useful knowledge... I mean useless
And now I can just curl up because I like useless knowledge
