Work = same.
We finally found a secretary. Ancien grease monkey and Longhorn waitress, Becca is the nwwest member of our team! I've heard her voice, but Monday I will meet her.
Stan got all nostalgic even though I haven't left yet, and dropped the bomb that I get to clean the dusty, probably silverfish-infested third floor file room. We need the space, but he was overloading the caring.

One laughs, one cries. It's ironic that it should happen that way.

I may be small, but I've got giant plans, and those involve my attending MCC!

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS, how random.

Black roses, cookie tombstones... better ask Schleif for some help thinking of bad omen gifts. White elephant? Albatross?

I tried to email the Hendrys but mailer daemon killed the email on its way to both addresses. When Ginny posts a new blog, I'm commenting it.

Melody's party:
"Hey boy, hey boy, I heard it from a friend about you!
It's my birthday! Aren't you going to sing me happy birthday? ... No.
It was round and soft. Get back to work."

May-Elise left at 8, Allseits spazzing over Risk, Stall's jewish treasure, Kim's sirensong, Sasha's dress pattern, cold dark beach, return of TM, Calliope riding a razor scooter around the garage, Nathan's shoe hidden in the wine cellar, Paul is an owl, peach-mango chips, Damien and Emma's travel adventures, Caleb's guitaring in the corner and I think I got some of Chloe's pink eye...

I cut my hair and so far my parents haven't noticed.

Easter:
Priest: Do you renounce Satan?
Brian: Ooh, that's a tough one.

Buffet:
Macaroni and Cheese
Rice
Broccoli
Lima Beans
Corn
Mixed dark greens
Pine nuts
Dried Cranberries
Spinach
Parmesan cheese
Cheddar cheese
Bleu cheese
Carrot
Almond
Walnut
Sunflower Seeds
Artichoke hearts
Black olives (no green, dammit)
Hard-boiled egg crumbles
Hearts of palm (sorry I made fun of these; they're really good)
Their beets looked kind of funky... so no
Macaroni and cheese (I ate so much, I have to list it again)
Mashed potato
~ 2 bites cottage cheese and peaches
Oatmeal raisin cookie
Carrot cake!

And a camel's share of icewater.

Conclusion: I ate a crapload of food.

The moral of the story is: If it is made of plant parts and is edible, without poisonous consequences, Nicole should try it. Why? Peanut satay hokkein noodles were delicious, despite the noodles' and curry paste's looking weird, and hearts of palm were similarly good.

I bought a cuttlebone for Percival at Sweetbay because -shocker of shockers!- Wal-Mart was closed. I much prefer buying from Sweetbay.
