Feb. 6th, 2007 08:03 pmCarnegie Mellon is seriously trying to win the best college application process award or something.
Some girl from there telephoned me tonight, and I'm not even accepted yet. "I noticed you applied at CIT and MCS... do you have any questions?"
They have easily the best website for checking up on application status and stats of both sent and received documents, they both mail a neatly organized packet and have a good online system, they sent a dvd with information and have a really comprehensive website, and now this.
MIT was also pretty sweet. I like their admissions blogs. It was kind of like tie with Carnegie Mellon.
Harvard doesn't care. Harvard's bureaucracy: "Fuck you, we're Harvard."
UCF is trying too hard (personalized e-mails), UF doesn't care too much, and Northeastern likes to invite me to on-campus events I can't attend, like an orientation the day of county finals for Academic Olympics. Northeastern was ok.
Yep. I'ma miss Pine View...
In other news: my entire family wished it was dead this morning, including the cat.
Also, it's a pity Mrs. Salzman is such an incompetent teacher. She keeps turtles, and turtles are cool.
