ALL RIyOT!
so I'm basically just stupid. I needed to export the file before I could upload.

Anyway today was supercool.
I loafed in the morning as always. I looked at pictures of the Stephen family and websites about Kwanzaa.
Melody called and I was excited but I was about to go to work so I did.
I worked 7 hours. Yuh. I took the freaking stairs! It wasn't as exhilarating as I'd imagined. The stairwells are grey and concrete and exposed plumbing graces each wall spray-painted with its own special floor number. Eight flights is pretty grueling when you skip every other step... in three-inch high shoes. (Thanks be to Lauren since one of my crappy flip flops now has actual animal feces smeared on its sole.) I sorted out the probate papers that still needed to be filed, transcribed a couple of letters, made copies, forwarded some mail to some clients, typed Director and Shareholder Minutes and Articles of Dissolution for two corporations, hung up on three telemarketers, found some envelopes I hadn't been able to locate yesterday, and edited a letter of recommendation for Awika. All the stuff I do at work sounds much cooler than it actually is.

Then I called Melody, who was also downtown.
She and Raluca and I went to Walgreens, a.k.a. "Perfect", looked at "feet" stools and a hamster that would dance no more, listened to annoying holiday jingles emitted by seasonal products (I wish Chia Pets sang), groped squooshy therapy pillows, sniffed miniature jar candles (most of which were disappointingly fragranced), and licked Jessica Simpson perfume off of our arms. A delight for all the senses.
Raluca's dad picked her up, and then there were two.
We drove around, turning at intersections or stopping at various stores whenever it struck our fancy. Then we climbed some rocks in people's backyards and spent over a half-hour traveling ten feet from where we started. We discussed life and how amazing life can be.
Then I dropped her off at her house and ate banana pepper and black olive pizza at my house.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to go to the International House Of Pancakes with two insanely awesome people and get some more work done.

Time passes so quickly.

CALLIOPE! The phone number on my machine sounded like something that the automated operator said does not exist and advised me to hang up. Then the number in the student directory was out of service. Then I hypothesized that I had misheard the sixth digit and ended up speaking with a guy named Ray.
Ok, so e-mail = reillyn@gmail.com . It's not hard at all as long as you manage to spell my last name properly. Heh.
