Keeping that in mind, I'm off to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow. Last time we went there, my great-grandma was alive and playing the accordion. We ate frozen lasagna. I floated boats in the hotel bidet, and my dad stole the towels.
This time I'm going to have to actually talk to my relatives. I have to stay at the table and eat politely. I have to wear a clean skirt and not talk like a trucker. Captain's orders. And I'm probably going to end up sleeping on the floor. I want to bring my whole backpack, but chances are I can only get away with a few books and my laptop.
