Seriously, rock salt crystal structure is two interpenetrating FCC lattices ararara seventeen plane groups studying for foffman arrr.
I realized while talking to Mallory that my default strategy while dealing with boys is "take no action."
It would make a sucky adventure game:
>You see a guy you think is kinda cute. Do you talk to him?
-Take no action.
(AWESOME!)
...but it generally keeps me out of potentially awkward situations. Also single and disease-free, both of which are excellent, except when the cluster sounds particularly desperate.
Sometimes I wonder if it would always keep me out of a mess. I also know that once a guy is persistent enough, "take no action" sets you up for solid fail. Still, this strategy mostly works.
I am probably paranoid and overanalytical, but I say this because I also realized last night at geek eat that of the three girls in our party of twenty, I was the only one (definitely) single. Less relevant stats include that there were as many non-bespectacled (I count because of contacts) people as girls. Despite dinner conversation about Kerberos, ttuttle's being on #cslounge, and gwillen's sad discovery that there was no wifi in the restaurant, the cs major proportion was lower, though, and I couldn't get a good picture of handedness. Often in a group that is a subset of DS, I am the only blue-eyed person, but KGB is white enough that this was not true. Why would I rather data mine than mingle?
I am still trying to gauge how much major matters at other colleges. Ours is particularly divided.
mmmrr not excited for foffman.
