Jun. 25th, 2008 11:36 pmBruce was really surprised to see us in his living room. Didn't go in the pool. Brianna is adorable. It was kind of fun to watch Mary try to figure out how to get her un-constipated. It involved sitting her in the kitchen sink.
They had carpenter ants. We called my dad (he was in pest control once), who said get boric acid.
Mary had some pork chops in a crock pot that were never going to be done, so it was a good idea my mom brought over frozen lasagna and macaroni and cheese. They forgot to pick up James (who still says "wicked" all the time) while we were eating dinner. But Mary did successfully make 1) popcorn 2) a salad and most surprisingly of all 3) carrot cake from a mix. Seriously, she's crazy and she's my godmother and I love her, but the woman can't cook or sing to save her life. I don't think she'll ever learn to sing, but she's improving her culinary skillz.
Gloria came over for late-night tea. She has angry swans in her backyard.
Apparently huge wild turkeys chase mailmen here.
I bought things to bake peach pie.
Tomorrow is probably the Freedom Trail. Mary may or may not come along with n/5 children. We'll probably see her/them again on Saturday, and there was talk of her and James coming to listen to my brother play music and show off the films he and his friends made. My mom also brought my dance DVD to show Mary, who finally has a daughter of her own now.
