End of February already.

Yesterday the hardcore kids ate sandwiches.
Then I sat around at dance until pictures since Roman was choreographing a team piece. Jill played our senior piece music, which is corny, so I'm continuing to make up a solo and seeing if I can get it in somewhere.

I noticed small weird things today.

1. The sound of Myers' glasses clinking on the white board as she forgot what the hell she was doing in E & M. She congratulated me for Academic Olympics, too... "that was pretty good" is how she phrased it, I believe. What a weird day.

2. Josh Achiam's extended pinky finger hovering above the trackpad of his laptop as his other fingers moved the cursor. What a weird kid.

3. The frequency of Taylor Schwimmer's swearing and empty threats and the way he runs. What a weird run.

4. Devon Baker is a Magic card expert! What a weird game.

5. A man bobbing around in the front seat of a truck was actually dancing to rock music, not having a seizure as I had assumed. What a weird dance.

Calliope and I spoke of shoes and ships and sealing-wax and how the circus was decorated and the little monkey and a lost balloon and colleges and responsibilities. My backpack is still broken, so the good Taylor and I made a pact to wear our silly eagle bags tomorrow. It's like I'm five years old and can't think for myself.

I was just really angry because people kept slamming into me like I was invisible and my backpack swung when they collided with it and slid down my arm, and when I got into French class, I had missed a crapload of stuff in the last section of the test because I didn't read the directions and wanted my answers to fit in the remaining space on the front of the page rather than flip it over. My one-page gov test was more of a success: 92 when the rest of the class had C's. Madame was being too happy again, so I kind of spazzed and tears started falling out of my face and I just left, something I have wanted to do many days that period but had never actually done. Tay came out and caught me on the other side of the Social Studies building and I explained that I really didn't have that high a stress level, I was just irrationally malcontent, but she decided I was stressed out and relayed it to a confused Madame as I completed my circuit of the foreign language and English buildings. Maybe I was. I told her I just needed to walk around in some circles and sit somewhere by myself - apparently I even schedule my breakdowns - and I sat on a bench and thought of nothing for a bit before returning just in time to check my answers on the test and start the tape recording process.

Then Madame asked us all what we said... telling us that children our age just want to be disciplined and can't do it themselves? and that they don't have the capacity to do right at all without their parents' help? Some people are better off with feline children.

Then DE was Pascal's Triangly and easy and fun and Physics was resistors: the opposite of capacitors.

You can't resist it
It's electric

YES WE CAN!

Now you can't hold it
It's electric

YES WE CAN!

Anyway... Special trees (unlike the earlier-in-the-day-discussed "special diploma") rounded out the rest of my school day.

Josh did a magic trick and played guitar for me before leaving for UF for one to two days, and then I got where I am now (work).
